A female-centric organisation with information, resources, education and community. Supporting women through hardship and difficulty. Building a world where we are free, enabled and empowered to live fulfilling and rewarding lives.
'A Safe Place' is an online resource for women to access education, information and support to help in times of crisis, hardship or simply to help in navigating life’s challenges. Topics include; employment, money matters relationships, housing and education. The site also includes a mental health blog to uplift and inspire and a group to discuss and share with other members. The long term vision is to build community and network, online and in person. Through sharing in struggle and success and collaborative effort we not only build a layer of protection and safety, but also strength and power. 'A Safe Place' is founded on the belief that not only is it true that any woman can be vulnerable. It is also true that every woman possesses a unique talent, gift, skill or knowledge, that can help others.
Through connection, we can thrive together. We are strong and we are resilient. We have a right to feel safe and have equal access to community and resources that help us thrive.
